Expansion joints AQUASTOP type DSHO — 24/060 – designed to protect joints in horizontal and vertical structures (floors, walls, ceilings) in areas of high pedestrian and light vehicle traffic: shopping centers, warehouses, office premises. Joint width — 60 mm. Suitable for joints in floor structures with a thickness of – 24 mm. Installation of guides is carried out by the embedded method. The device consists of aluminum guides with perforation and an elastic profiled compensator made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in the middle.

Technical advantages:

  • Material: aluminum guides (GOST standard), compensator — wear-resistant TPE.
  • Strength: designed for mechanical and operational loads.
  • Corrosion resistance: resistant to moisture, temperature fluctuations, aggressive environments.
  • Durability: aluminum is not subject to corrosion, the compensator can be easily replaced without dismantling the profile.

Installation:

  • Installation method: embedded, with fixation of the guides into the concrete base.
  • Fastening: mechanical overlay installation using anchors or dowels.
  • Additionally: angular design for complex joints is available.

Installation Guidelines for AQUASTOP® DSHO Expansion Joint Devices

  1. Preparatory Work:
    • Clean the base surface from dirt, debris, and dust.
    • If necessary, level the base with a polymer-cement mixture or equivalent.
    • Repair defects (cracks, pores, exposed reinforcement).
  2. Temperature Conditions: Perform work at air temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
  3. Layout and Gaps:
    • Install beacons according to the finished floor level (starting from a reference point near the wall).
    • Leave a damping gap ≤10 mm along the perimeter of the walls.
  4. Device Installation:
    • Assemble the sections, embedding the supporting parts into adhesive/sealant.
    • Join sections with 150 mm staggered seams.
    • ⚠️ Prohibited: Use anchor fasteners.
  5. Additional Operations (if required):
    • Fill gaps with polyurethane sealant.
    • Perform thermal welding of the compensator (185-195°C).
    • Apply primer (composition: specify in the project).

Universal Requirements:
- Compliance with SP 71.13330-2017;
- Check base evenness with a straightedge (tolerance: ≤2 mm longitudinally, ≤1 mm transversely);
- Fastener tightening torque: (specify for particular model);
- All parameters (A, B, C) are determined by the project.
