The compensator is made of heat-resistant, light-resistant, ozone-resistant, and frost-resistant EPDM rubber, providing compensation for significant movements. Reduces stresses caused by shrinkage and temperature fluctuations. Withstands truck loads.

Installation Guidelines for AQUASTOP® DSHN Expansion Joint Devices

  1. Preparatory Work:
    • Clean the substrate surface from dirt, debris, and dust.
    • If necessary, level the substrate with a polymer-cement mixture or equivalent.
    • Repair defects (cracks, pores, exposed reinforcement).
  2. Temperature Conditions: Perform installation at air temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
  3. Layout and Gaps:
    • Install beacons according to the finished floor level (starting from a reference point near the wall).
    • Maintain an expansion gap of ≤10 mm around the perimeter of walls.
  4. Device Installation:
    • Assemble sections by embedding support components in adhesive/sealant.
    • Connect sections with 150 mm staggered joints.
    • ⚠️ Prohibited: Use anchor fasteners.
  5. Additional Operations (if required):
    • Fill gaps with polyurethane sealant.
    • Perform thermal welding of the compensator (185-195°C).
    • Apply primer (composition: as specified in project documentation).

 

Universal Requirements:
- Compliance with SP 71.13330-2017;
- Verify substrate evenness using a straightedge (tolerance: ≤2 mm longitudinally, ≤1 mm transversely);
- Fastener tightening torque: (specify for particular model);
- All parameters (A, B, C, Bs) to be determined by project specifications.
