Expansion Joint Devices AQUASTOP Type DSHV — 50/025 — designed for protecting joints in horizontal and vertical structures (floors, walls, ceilings) in areas with high pedestrian traffic: shopping centers, office spaces. Joint width — 25 mm. Suitable for joints in floor structures with thickness — 50 mm. Guide rails are installed using the embedded method. The device consists of perforated aluminum guide rails and a flexible profiled compensator made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in the center.

Installation Guidelines for AQUASTOP® DSHV Expansion Joint Devices

  1. Preparatory Work:
    • Clean the base surface from dirt, debris, and dust.
    • If necessary, level the base with a polymer-cement mixture or equivalent.
    • Repair defects (cracks, pores, exposed reinforcement).
  2. Temperature Conditions: Perform work at air temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
  3. Layout and Gaps:
    • Install beacons according to the finished floor level (starting from a reference point near the wall).
    • Leave a damping gap ≤10 mm along the perimeter of the walls.
  4. Device Installation:
    • Assemble the sections, embedding the supporting parts into adhesive/sealant.
    • Join sections with 150 mm staggered seams.
    • ⚠️ Prohibited: Use anchor fasteners.
  5. Additional Operations (if required):
    • Fill gaps with polyurethane sealant.
    • Perform thermal welding of the compensator (185-195°C).
    • Apply primer (composition: specify in the project).

Universal Requirements:
- Compliance with SP 71.13330-2017;
- Check base evenness with a straightedge (tolerance: ≤2 mm longitudinally, ≤1 mm transversely);
- Fastener tightening torque: (specify for particular model);
- All parameters (A, B, C, Bs) are determined by the project.
